The Ottawa Senators have confirmed that first round draft pick Logan Brown has signed an entry-level contract with the team.

The 6-foot-6, 220lbs center was drafted 11th overall by the Senators in this year’s draft, with the Ottawa club having given up the 12th overall pick and the New York Islanders’ third-round pick (80th overall) to the New Jersey Devils to move up.
Brown is expected to remain with the Windsor Spitfires of the Ontario Hockey League this season, with the Senators hoping to see him improve on the 74 points (21 goals, 53 assists) he earned in 59 regular season games last year.
