Roy Says Bye, Bye To Colorado

Well, history has repeated itself

Former NHL goalie, Patrick Roy decided to quit his head coaching job in Colorado.

Apparently, Roy was not happy with the Avalanche organization anymore.

As a result, Roy said goodbye.

Man!  This brings me back to December, 1995.

With Roy in net, the Detroit Red Wings were hammering the Montreal Canadiens 11-1.  Finally, Roy was pulled and he had enough.

Roy walked by head coach, Mario Tremblay, notifies general manager, Serge Savard, who was sitting nearby, that this was his last game in and with Montreal.

Roy was traded to Colorado days later, where he finished his career and became head coach.

Now, Roy is no longer a part of the Avalanche franchise.

Makes me wonder what Roy wants to do now.
