Watch Out Swimmers, There’s A New Kid In Town

I have been watching the Olympics in Rio Janeiro all week.  Of course, the big news in Canada is the wonderful performance the Women’s Swim team has been doing.

A young 16 year-old from Toronto, Ontario has been making all the headlines in Canada.

Her name is Penny Olesiak

Olesiak is now the youngest swimmer to win the gold medal.  She also the first athlete in Canadian history to win four medals (gold, silver, and two bronze in team relay) in a single Olympics.

This young lady is amazing and she’s probably not done yet.  She has a chance to win a fifth this weekend.

CONGRATULATION PENNY!  YOU’VE DONE CANADA PROUD!
