NHL goalie, Marc-Andre Fleury hasn’t given up on the Pittsburgh Penguins.
He (Fleury) still believes he is going to get his starting job back despite his age.
“I love Pittsburgh and the Penguins are my team,” Fleury told NHL.com’s Robert LaFlamme.
Fleury also said that he wants to finished his career in Pittsburgh.
However, a rookie goalie is probably going to hinder Fleury’s plans.
His name is Matt Murray.
When Fleury got injured mid-way through the season last year, Murray took over the net minding duties.
Murray won nine of 13 games he played and helped Pittsburgh to their fourth Stanley Cup Championship.
All eyes are probably be on Pittsburgh this upcoming season to see what the team does with Fleury if Murray has another good year.
You see, Fleury is not just in danger of losing his job in Pittsburgh, he’s in danger of being traded.
